Buy dishwasher freestanding or installed cheap
What do you have to consider when buying a dishwasher? A good question.
Saving electricity with the dishwasher. Modern dishwashers ensure clean dishes and often lower power consumption.
In addition to different programs and functions, good energy efficiency is also very important.
Everything worth knowing about dishwasher sinks
The purchase of the popular domestic help dishwasher will be carefully considered. The differences between different devices can be very large, e.g. B. in energy consumption.
Looking for a dishwasher? So find the right one!
A dishwasher can facilitate the work in the kitchen and even save water if the operation is properly operated. It is also worthwhile to invest some effort into the selection of the right dishwasher - and thus find it perfect for you or your family. Together with washing machine and dryer, rinsing consumes about an eighth of the electricity consumption in the household.
First the question arises: what is the right size?
First you should ask yourself: How many people use the dishwasher? A device with a construction width of 60 centimeters is suitable for a large household (three people or more) with 12 to 14 measures. For a small household, i.e. for one or two people, a dishwasher with 45 centimeters is sufficient.
Note should also be given to the interior.
When choosing, the suitable equipment options are also important for you to fill the machine optimally. If you have a lot of cutlery, there should be an integrated cutlery drawer. If you mostly have large pots, bowls and cushion shapes, the brackets for plates and cups should be removable or foldable. If you have special dishes, such as baby bottles or very large plates to rinse, your machine should contain tangible special baskets, adjustable baskets or additional baskets.
Rinse programs are the be -all and end -all
For low energy consumption, you can use the ECO/energy saving program for slightly dirty dishes. The automatic program is suitable for adapting water and energy consumption to the pollution of the dishes. Protective/glass/hand-rinsing and fine programs work at only a low temperature and thus protect the dishes. But be careful with the quick program: there is an increased energy consumption.
Meaningful extras
Full water protection prevents water damage. A load sensor finds how much dishes are in the dishwasher and the amount of water adapts accordingly. A heat exchanger also helps to save energy.
As energy efficient as possible
When buying a dishwasher, be sure to pay attention to the energy efficiency label. The best energy efficiency class for dishwashers is A and the worst is at G. As an incentive for technical innovations, the top class should initially remain free. Therefore, only a few devices will reach efficiency class A in the early days.
But there are also differences within the energy efficiency classes. Therefore, also pay attention to electricity consumption. The electricity consumption for 100 rinsing is given on the energy label. Compare the water consumption (on the energy label for 100 rinsing).
With the new EU energy label, energy efficiency differences will be more clearly visible from March 2021. The new EU energy label gives a statement about the energy efficiency of the device at first glance thanks to its color scale from green to red.
