The new TA AGM truck battery with AGM technology was specially developed for demanding long-distance transport. AGM stands for absorbent glass mat, the acid of the battery is completely bound here in a glass fiber fiber, which makes it absolutely leak -proof and maintenance -free. Due to its high vibration strength, it is also suitable for rear installation. The cycle strength of the TA AGM is six times higher compared to conventional lead-acid batteries, up to 80 percent depth of discharge. This reduces the failures due to cyclical stress. With its cold start performance of 1 200 A (CCA) and its capacity of 210 AH, it reliably delivers the energy for a safe cold start and all comfort and hotel functions. Due to the microcycle resistance associated with AGM technology, it is also suitable for functions such as start/stop systems and sailing/coasting, so-called sailing and rolling without motor support.
With the most powerful commercial vehicle battery TA AGM, Bosch complements the existing program of EFB batteries and conventional lead-acid batteries in the commercial vehicle area with a new reliable premium product in initial equipment quality.
