Electric car charging station
As a driving force in the development of future -proof technologies, Vestel has introduced a whole range of highly efficient and comfortable charging stations for private and public areas. The charging stations are accessible via an intelligent loading application and offer 3.7 kW, 7.4 kW, 11 kW and 22 kW AC charging options. They are designed for compatibility with all modern management systems and correspond to the IEC standard type 2.
The Vestel EVC04 series offers the best connectivity options, including LTE, WI-FI, Ethernet and RS485 to enable all remote management functions via OCPP. The customizable power control offers flexibility to support an individual performance setting at the installation location. Dynamic load management helps to compensate for power deviations from the power grid and ensures smooth and seamless charging at any time.
E-charging stations For home as a wall box or stand version
At home you have a lot of sockets. Why also mount a new connection for the electric car?
A very simple comparison, an electric car on the household socket charging in about 10 hours of cooking water. A vehicle with a 24 kW battery connected to a household socket with 2.3kW, needs about 10 hours until it is loaded.
A kettle has a maximum of 2300 watts (2.3kW), which is already a considerable performance. But nobody would do that, have the kettle in continuous operation for 10 hours.
But if you would connect an Audi e-tron with 86kWh, the cargo goes for 40 hours. This is absolutely unusable if you want to need the electric car again the next day.
Therefore was now E-charging stations Develops who work with a lot more power.
With a Charge e-charging station or wall box quickly and safely
Our tip-the solution for electric mobile lists is an e-charging station as a stand or wall version for your e-car at home. The charging station is tailored to the charging capacity of your electrical installation and communicates with your electric car, with which electricity (e.g. 16 a per phase) can load it at a maximum. The e-charging station is tailored to the charging capacity of your house installation by an electrician. If necessary, the electrical installer extends the electrical installation so that you can achieve the desired charging power for your electric vehicle.
The electric car will be there shortly and how do I solve the shop at home?
It has a few points that you have to consider when buying an e-charging station. With which capacity or how quickly does my electric car load?
The built-in charger (on-board charger) plays an important role in the electric car for the loading time. The range of possible performance ranges from 3.7 kW to 22 kW. How quickly the vehicle loads depends on two other components: the Charging station and the Charging cable. The component with the weakest performance determines the overall performance. For example, an electric car with 3.7 kW charging power can be loaded at any charging station that is designed for faster charging capacity, but loads a maximum of 3.7 kW.
You can find out how quickly your electric car loads in different tables where the Loading time overview are listed with all current models from Audi to Tesla. Or you can easily calculate your loading time according to the following formula:
Charging time = battery capacity / charging capacity
Example: 3.9 h = 85 kWh / 22 kW
The next question is what charging plug has my car?
Most vehicles have the Type 2 plugs. There are only a few Asian or American models with a type 1 plug. Our Vestel e-charging stations are all prepared with type 2 plugs.
The next point is, How long should the charging cable be? We have versions without cables, with 5 meters or even 7 meters of cable. It should be enough for the vehicle.
Wall or stand assembly is not a problem. Due to our stand, 1 or even two e-charging stations can be installed on back.
Operation with photovoltaic system?
If you have a photovoltaic system, you can use it to load the electric car during the day. What it takes is a load management tool that divides the electricity so that no other consumer is neglected in the household.
Installation of a charging station.
The installation of the E-charging station Should be carried out by a qualified installer. The reason for this is that the system must subsequently be registered with the electricity operator and this must do a licensed company in Switzerland.
Now it is up to you to make the right selection. If you struggle with direct online shopping and cannot choose spontaneously, no problem.
