This brake fluid for hydraulic braking and coupling systems of motor vehicles is particularly suitable for braking hydraulic components due to their low toughness (viscosity) in extreme cold, which requires rapid modulation of the braking pressure on the slowed-down wheel, especially if the vehicle is prevented or understood, the so-called electronic stability program (ESP*).

The viscosity at 40 ° C is only about half as high with a maximum of 700 mm²/s as the corresponding values ​​of many other standard dot 4 fluids and thus meets the requirements of ISO specification 4925 for brake fluids with low deep temperature visity (class 6).

The brake fluid is made up of polyethylene glycolethers, polyethylene glycols, its boric acidest, amines, additives and stabilizers. The ATE DOT 4 brake fluid Sl.6 fulfills and exceeds the requirements of the brake fluid standards FMVSS no. 116 DOT 4, SAE J1704 and ISO 4925, class 6.

The ATE brake fluid SL.6 can be mixed with other brake fluids that meet the ISO 4925 class 6, DOT 5.1 or DOT 4 specifications. The optimal ESP functionality Even at very low temperatures, it is best guaranteed with liquids from the ISO 4925, class 6 specification.
