For heavy vehicles with 24 V batteries
The MXT 14 is a fully automatic, 8-stage 24 V battery charger for charging 24 V batteries between 28 AH and 300 AH with up to 14 A and for the maintenance charge of batteries up to 500 AH. The functional scope of the device includes a battery diagnosis that determines whether the battery can absorb and hold loads, a recond mode for reconditioning deep-reloaded batteries in which acid stories have formed, as well as an integrated temperature sensor to optimize the charging process under all weather conditions. In supply mode, the MXT 14 can be used as a 24 V power supply source.

Charging functions:
Step 1 desulphation
Recognizes sulfated batteries. In this way, power and voltage pulsate and remove sulfate from the lead plates of the battery, which restores the battery capacity.
Step 2 soft start
Check the load capacity of the battery. This step prevents the loading process from continuing with a defective battery.
Step 3 Bulk
Load with maximum current to the reach of approx. 80% of the battery capacity.
Step 4 absorption
Loading with weak ones will be powered by up to 100% of the battery capacity.
Step 5 analysis
Test of the load maintenance of the battery. Batteries that cannot hold your load must be replaced.
Step 6 Recond
Select the RECOND program to enter the reconditioning step into the charging process. While
The reconditioning step is increased the voltage to create controlled gas formation in the battery. In the formation of gas, the battery acid is mixed, which gives energy back to the battery.
Step 7 Float
The battery voltage is kept at its maximum value by loading it with constant voltage.
Step 8 pulse
The battery capacity is kept at 95 100%. The charger monitors the battery voltage and, as soon as necessary, gives a charging pulse to keep the battery completely charged.
