Reducer for 925 Edge HD of the EDEGED Reducer offer an optics specially calculated for the EDGED telescopes with five optical elements (including with Lanthanglas), while maintaining the flat image field of the EdgeD optics. In contrast to simpler reducers for the APS format, EDGE HD reducers do not shorten the original backfocus of 146 mm. This means that not only every DSLR camera can be connected, but also all known CCD cameras with filter wheels and (AO) active optics systems and off-practice guiding adapter. The 0.7x EDEGEN Reducer contain lenses with extreme refractive index, including lanthan lenses with a very low dispersion. As a result, the particularly high contrast of the EDGE-HD look will remain undiminished despite the many additional lenses and there is no color defect over a very wide spectral range. Each glass air surface in this lens system is used to maintain maximum transmission and color-loyal multi-layer. All lentil edges are carefully blackened to completely suppress internal reflections. The large lentils with up to 60mm diameter enable a fully illuminated picture circuit with a diameter of 42mm - also suitable for large CCD sensors. The elaborately CNC milling aluminum housing ensures the exact distances and a precise alignment of the lenses. Metal screw lids protect the lenses from dust and damage if the EDGE-HD reducer is not used.
